Morocco

Sandwiched between the Atlantic
and the Sahara, Morocco covers an
area the size of California and Nevada
put together. Dotted along this vast
1,100-mile coastline are some of the
best point breaks in the world, with a
choice of waves to suit everyone. Add to
that a warm climate, rich culture and
buzzing markets and it all adds up to a
great surf trip.

WHEN TO GO: October to March
AIRPORT: Agadir (AGA)
LANGUAGE: Arabic is the mother,
tongue but most Moroccans speak
French and a few also speak a little
English.

booties as the rocks at many of the
points are sharp.

and poor water quality.

one of the local eateries.
NOTE: Morocco is a Muslim
country and it’s important to respect
local laws and customs. Female
