10th year, and is celebrating this milestone

WILD RICE’S HOUSEWARMING SEASON
Get a sneak peek at Wild Rice’s new
theatre at Funan ahead of its official
opening in September through its six-week
Housewarming Season, featuring three of
the company’s biggest hits from the 2018
Singapore Theatre Festival as well as an
original new production by Young & WILD,
the company’s youth division, titled Anything
Can Happen/Something Must Happen.

FUZZ
Bask in the light of Japanese artist Tsuyoshi Hisakado’s large-scale
installation made out of standing lamps stacked in the shape of a mountain at the
artist’s solo exhibition at Ota Fine Arts, Shanghai. Fuzz was first conceived
as a site‑specific installation at Mount Rokkō in Kobe, Japan.

BORYEONG MUD FESTIVAL
Reap the benefits of the mineral‑rich mud from Boryeong, a small town about 200km
south of Seoul, as you frolic in mud pools, on mud slides and more. The annual
festival also boasts other attractions such as live music, competitions and markets,
and ends with a fireworks display.

THE 29TH AUSTRALIAN FESTIVAL
OF CHAMBER MUSIC
Enjoy chamber music by more than
30 of the world’s best chamber musicians
at this 10-day festival held in Townsville,
North Queensland. Highlights include
the festival’s first pipa performance, and
special concerts on the picturesque

DIOR: FROM PARIS TO THE WORLD
Celebrating over 70 years of haute
couture, Dior’s retrospective at the
Dallas Museum of Art showcases
more than 200 exceptional pieces
from the French fashion house. The
exhibition was originally created
for the Denver Art Museum and
has been specially adapted with
new scenography.

TAKIS
Showcasing more than 70 of Greek artist Takis’ works, this exhibition at
London’s Tate Modern is his largest yet in the UK. Known as one of the most
original artistic voices in Europe in the 1960s, Takis pioneered new forms of
sculpture, painting and musical structures in kinetic art.

MANCHESTER INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL
This biennial festival will feature internationally acclaimed artists across art
forms, from over 20 countries. Yoko Ono will open the festival with Bells For
Peace, an event inviting the people of Manchester to gather at Cathedral
Gardens to sing and ring bells as a message of peace to the world.
