Glashütte Original
With its unique “reversed”
movement architecture
enhanced by lavish
decoration, the new
Glashütte Original
PanoInverse Limited
Edition is quite a sight to
behold. The beating balance
is prominently displayed on
the dial side to lend constant
movement to it, while the
three-quarter plate serves
as a canvas for hand-engraved
fi ligree-style foliage.
BLANCPAIN
It may be better known for its diving watches and related ocean
conservancy efforts, but Blancpain’s history extends to aviation
as well. The Air Command chronograph is a 500-piece limited
edition harking back to a military chronograph the brand
produced in the late 1950s, and comes with the necessary
appointments, from the vintage bi-compax layout to the “aged”
Super-Luminova paint on the dial.
HARRY WINSTON
Here’s an exercise in excesses: four
36-second tourbillons arranged symmetrically
and linked via three differentials to keep
time. The result is Harry Winston’s Histoire de
Tourbillon 10 timepiece, which has a unique
movement housed in an equally special
rectangular case. The watch will be offered in
white gold and rose gold, limited to just
10 pieces in each material, with one additional
unique piece in Winstonian.
