ANDREA’S HIT-AND-RUN
SEASON 3 As she walked home from school, Andrea
was hit by a car, leaving her hospitalized and with casts
on both her legs. While she was laid up, Brandon and
his girlfriend Nikki, along with David and Donna, came
to visit their injured friend. Andrea was soon back at
school, initially using a wheelchair to get to her classes
before progressing to crutches. Brandon and Steve
uncovered the culprit behind the vehicular crime—a
local hot-rodder named Frank Padilla (Cyril O’Reilly).
SURF’S UP
SEASON 2 Brenda told her folks that she
was spending the weekend with Kelly when
she and Dylan ran away together on a secret
trip to Baja. After some standard-issue
quarreling, the couple had an idyllic couple of
days, with great food, dancing and Dylan
teaching his love the basics of surfing. But
they ran into trouble crossing the border to
California. Without a driver’s license, passport
or birth certificate, Brenda couldn’t prove her
identity, forcing immigration officials to call
her parents—which is how the Walshes
learned their daughter had been to Mexico
with Dylan without their permission. Dylan
was banned from the house by Jim, who
berated him for betraying their trust. On the
plus side, the waves in Mexico were great.
MISTAKEN IDENTITY
SEASON 6 Valerie reluctantly agreed to pose as
a prostitute to help private detective J. Jay Jones
(Wings Hauser) catch a cheating husband.
Things didn’t go according to plan—she was
arrested and used her one phone call to ask
David to put up $1,000 in cash to bail her out of
jail. When David asked why she chose him, she
said, “You’re the only one I can let see me like
this.” Jones pulled strings to get the charges
dropped, leaving Val with a clean record.
