People’s Aili Nahas spoke to
six cast members separately
about starring on 90210
then and now.
It’s a reunion! How does it feel to be
back on the set together again?
JENNIE GARTH Coming together as
a cast again is such a big deal to all
of us. The timing of it has been
weirdly signifi cant [after the
recent death of Luke Perry]. We
were meant to be together at this
time. It was so surreal on one hand,
and it’s poetic on another.
GABRIELLE CARTERIS I had
anxiety. I think that we came
from a really iconic show, and
this, what we’re doing, is really
very daring. But that being said, I
am committed to jumping in and
totally just going for it.
This isn’t just a straight reboot of
the old show—you’re taking a
different direction.
TORI SPELLING Jennie and I
created this. We thought, “Gosh,
everyone does reboots.” And the
show had a reboot [CW’s 90210,
2008-2013] that we weren’t really
a part of. So it had to be something
fresh and diff erent. When we came
to the conclusion that people are
fascinated that we’re really friends
in real life, we’re like, “What if we
