Turkmenistan Airlines [T5/ASB] [Turkmenistan] is to order a further
B772 at cost at list price of $346.9 million.

Ukraine International Airlines [PS/AUI] [Ukraine] to resume non-
stop scheduled flights between Vilnius and Odesa with B737-800 in
summer 2019.
The carrier started seasonal operations from Kiev to Sanya on
04Jun19, using the B767-300.

Uni Air [Taiwan] cancelled its Taipei Song Shan – Hengchun route
from 28May19, which was served with ATR72-600.

United Airlines [UA/UAL] [US] and Kingsland (Bahamas) have
indicated that they would be willing to offer new financing to Avianca
Holdings (Panama/Colombia), if required and requested, of up to
US$250 million.
United Airlines has been gradually extending its cancellations of
B737 MAX flights, leading to about 40 or 45 daily cancelled flights.
United Airlines president Scott Kirby says the carrier will match
fares to any potential new-entrant LCC, including David Neeleman’s
Moxy AIrways (US).
United Airlines introduced a B787-10 on its Newark – Brussels
route from 22May19, in place of a B777-200.

Ural Airlines [U6/SVR] [Russia] has started new routes: from DME to
Bordeaux three times weekly and from DME to Montepellier, also three
times weekly.

US-Bangla Airlines [US/UBG] [Bangladesh] has recently added two
new ATR72-600s to operate flights on its domestic routes.

UTair [UT/UTA] [Russia] creditors did not accept a proposal for a 35-
year plan for the debts as proposed by the airline and so talks
continue. A shareholder, the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous regional
government, says it has no plans to sell its 38.8% stake in the carrier
within the next three years. The carrier will obtain financial assistance
from the Tyumen Government, who own a 8.4% stake. The government
has no plans to sell the stake either.
Lenders told the carrier it should consider sellings its biggest
asset, its helicopter unit, to help pay down its larger debt. The

preliminary stage. However, it is also in early talks with Fosun Tourism
(Hong Kong) to sell its tour operating business.

TUI Airlines Belgium [TB/JAF] [Belgium] has introduced additional
routes to Greece, The following routes were progressively added from
May and June 2019.



  • Basel – Irakleion eff 05Jun19: 1 weekly 737-800 (Selected dates by
    -700)

  • Innsbruck – Kos eff 24May19: 1 weekly 737-800

  • Nantes – Kalamata 16May19 – 05Sep19: 1 weekly 737-800


The airline has also added various routes to Morocco: the following
routes are operated by a mix of Boeing 737-700/-800 and/or Airbus

Tunisair [TU/TAR] [Tunisia] added a new seasonal charter service on
its Tunis – Bodrum route from 08Jul19, using the A320.
Tunisair has leased five aircraft recently and plans to lease five
more for the long-term, as it mulls an eventual fleet renewal.


Turkish Airlines [TK/THY] [Turkey] was planning a B737 MAX 9
service on the Istanbul – Porto route from 30Oct19. However, it then
removed all B737 MAX flights from its schedule listing effective
27Oct19.
Turkish Airlines will launch A350 flights from Istanbul to Dubai and
London Heathrow in mid April 2020.
Turkish Cargo has added Moscow Sheremetyevo to its direct cargo
network; weekly freighter flights from Istanbul with an A330-200F
started on 12Jun19.
