MAN Engines delivers its first MAN V12-2000
The MAN V12-2000 is currently the most powerful engine in
the MAN Engines portfolio and was only debuted last year at
the Cannes Yachting Festival. AB Yachts, the world’s leading
supplier of gliders with water jet propulsion, will install this
yacht engine in its AB 100 model in a three-engine system with
ZF transmissions and MJP water jets. The total power of the
system is thus 6,000 hp and accelerates the 100-foot luxury
yacht to a top speed of 55 knots.http://www.man-engines.comThe T11 is Nimbus
The T11 is a 12.5-meter-long walk-around, ideal for excursions, since it offers
plenty of space for up to 12 people to socialize or take part in activities, while
also providing enough room for everyone onboard to face the direction of
travel when moving at higher speeds. The T11 series has a new, well-balanced
stepped hull with great high-speed properties in combination with a low
planing threshold. The front hull is sharp in order to easily cut through the
waves and it is fitted with an ample flare that protects against spray and makes
for a drier ride. The boat comes equipped with two Mercury Verado V8 300
motors as standard and the speed range is between 20 and 40+ knots.

spectacular dinner party reception. Under the Athenian
sky and next to the Greek blue sea, more than 450 guests
from the shipping industry honoured the event. The
Ambassador of Japan in Greece, Mr. Yasuhiro Shimizu and
the President of Furuno Electric, Mr. Yukio Furuno, were
amongst the important guests. Mr. Seisuke Ioka, Operations
Director of FURUNO HELLAS, delivered the opening speech
and welcomed all attendees. Speeches were also made
