THE WRITE STROKE

n earlier times, whenever some secret or

confidential message had to be conveyed
through letters, a technique was followed in the
method of deliverance. On the face of it, the letter
seemed to be blank. However, when a candle was
lit underneath, all the words surfaced and became
legible. Similar is the case with us, human beings.
Our human garb is housing the supreme secret of
this creation, the Divine God. However, when we
close our eyes and try to look within, we don't find
Him there. Now, as a lit candle was needed to make
the words on that letter visible; similarly, Divine
Light is needed in order to see God within. This
brings us to the stage which highlights the
inevitable role of a true Spiritual Guru.
Lord Krishna, who is hailed as the Jagadguru,
says to Arjuna (Gita, 9.2)– Rajvidya “rajguhyiyam”
pavittram idam uttamam... That, I am going to
reveal to you the most profound secret... after
comprehending which, Arjuna got the knack of
uprooting fear, anxiety, ambiguity, etc. which were
posing as impediments in his road to success and
victory. Well, this is, in reality, the definition of true
Spirituality and the role of a true Spiritual Guide in
our life... to wake us up, enlighten us, and thus give
a meaning to our very existence in the world.
