THE HAWKE AIRMAX 30SF COMPACT
from six levels of brightness to suit the
moment. There’s a well-thought-out feature
here that impressed me; between each
brightness setting, the illumination
goes off, so that you don’t
need to go all the way
back to zero each
time. Just one small
click takes you to
off, or back on to
your preferred
setting. For
night-time use,
I almost always
select the
lowest setting
possible, so I
only need one
click to be back
to what I need.
OPTICAL
PERFORMANCE
I’m sure you don’t need me
to explain that I have been very impressed
with this new model. I believe it delivers
everything that the modern airgunner needs in
a sensibly neat and lightweight
package that suits popular
hunting PCPs like the
superb Air Arms
S410 perfectly.
Optical
performance is
amongst the
best I’ve tried
and for me,
this is one of
the most
important
factors in
making difficult
shots count.
The icing on
the cake is that at
£259.00 it’s far from
the most expensive end
of the airgun optics range.
I’m so impressed that I’m seriously considering
putting one on my primary hunting gun and I
don’t change my set-up lightly. This might just
be the scope I’ve been looking for and
perhaps the one you need too.
