SMASHED TO PIECES
Jack tries to persuade Eve
to keep the vial intact, but
she smashes it. He demands
a divorce. Jack comes to
the hospital and tells Kayla
and Jennifer what happened
with Eve. When the formula
is missing, Jack and Jen
confront Eve about having
it confiscated from the lab.
Jack fires Eve. Jennifer and
Eve have a heated exchange;
Abe breaks it up.

THE MARRYING KIND
“Nicole” asks Abe to
marry her and her intended
but he says he can’t. “Ni-
cole” then summons Brady
and pretends that she
suddenly remembered who
saved her from the ware-
house fire: Andre or Tony.
She makes a fake call to
the hospital and gets an
address in Chicago for the
missing DiMera. “Nicole”
and Brady head to Chicago
to find Tony. Together, they
“convince” him to marry
“Nicole” to prevent the

ruination of DiMera.

Rafe is furious when

he hears that Gabi plans to

marry Stefan, but she won’t

be deterred. Stefan asks Ben

to be a witness. Gabi shows

up for the nups and she and

Stefan share a warm mo-

ment. Abe arrives with stun-

ning news: “Nicole” might

also be getting married

today, too. Gabi worries that

“Nicole” found a DiMera

of her own to wed. As Gabi

and Stefan say their “I do’s”

so do Tony and “Nicole”.

TAKE CHARGE

Jack offers the commis-

sioner job to Eli, who, af-

ter talking to Lani, accepts.

Eli informs Rafe that

he’s the new boss. Later,

Eli and Lani celebrate at

Doug’s Place, where they

share the news of their

engagement with Chloe.

BOSS LADIES

Eric comes upon “Ni-

cole” and Tony in the town

square and hears they’re

husband and wife. Brady

joins them and Eric learns

he was their witness. Eric

attacks Brady for letting

it happen. Rex breaks up

the fight. Sarah feels sorry

for Eric and invites him to

the Kiriakis mansion for

dinner.

Mr. Shin, a DiMera

board member, arrives in

Salem and fires Stefan.

Stefan and Gabi reveal

their marriage and lobby

for Gabi to get the CEO

job. “Nicole” enters

and announces she’s a

DiMera, too, because she

wed Tony.

NAME GAME

Will, Sonny, Rex, Sarah

and Eric have dinner. After

it’s over, Rex takes an

exhausted Sarah upstairs.

They start to make love.

Rex tells Sarah that he

loves her. Her reply? “I

love you, too, Eric.” 

Does it upset Brady that Eric (Greg Vaughan, l.)
blames him for Nicole’s marriage? Eric Martsolf says:

“Keeping the peace with Eric is so important to
him. It’s a classic tale of, ‘Which direction do I go?
Do I follow my own heart or do I worry about the
heart of the other person who I might affect?’ ”
