USM’s modular Haller shelving system now comes
with integrated lighting. Called ‘Haller E’, it’s
a triumph of sophisticated simplicity, rather like
Lobmeyr’s ‘Drinking Set No.4’, originally designed by
Ludwig Lobmeyr in 1856. Look closely at this set
and you’ll notice hand-engraved ‘cracks’ in the glass,
a witty embellishment dreamed up by legendary
