glass, the ‘Ombré’ chair by Latvian designer

Germans Ermičs typifies a clear new trend

in furniture design. Dichroic glass refracts

brilliant colours in Formafantasma’s ‘Blush’

lamp for Flos, a slim vertical tube enclosing

an LED strip, while Tokujin Yoshioka’s case

for Dom Pérignon’s vintage 2009 champagne

uses three Baccarat-crystal prisms that

give refracted glimpses of the bottle within.
