obert may have wanted
to cut ties with Vicky when
he reunited with Michelle,
but news of her pregnancy changed
everything – now he wants her in
his life, so that he can be a proper
father to their unborn baby.
So when he arrives at Vicky’s
place this week, he’s panicked to see
her ex-partner Jed sniffing around,
and further rocked to spot that

Vicky has packed her bags, having
seemingly accepted Jed’s offer
of a new life together in Ireland.
Horrified to realise he may be about
to lose his chance to play daddy, he
squares up to his ‘rival’.
Vicky’s torn as she sees the two
men in her life locking horns, and
asks to be left alone so she can
decide what she really wants.
Which man will get his way?

ust a few months ago,
Gary barely had enough
cash to buy a pint. Now
he’s a moneylender and
owns a furniture shop, and this
week he adds Underworld hero
to his CV as he saves the factory
from financial ruin.
The builder’s ‘windfall’ has come
courtesy of Rick Neelan, who he
recently bumped off. The late loan
shark’s office is Gary’s personal cash
machine – there seem to be wads
of notes everywhere. At the start
of the week, one such wad goes
walkabout when Gary hides it in
the drawer of a desk, which his
assistant Ryan then sells to Mary.
When Gary confronts the florist,
Mary insists the desk was empty
when she bought it. The mystery of
his missing moola is finally solved
when Alya lets slip that Ryan has
come into some money. A livid
Gary squares up to the lad and
demands he pay back every penny
he stole... plus interest.
At the community
centre, meanwhile,
Sarah learns that the
insurance company
will only pay £20k
for the factory roof
collapse; way short of
what is needed for a
rebuild. But Gary has
an idea and introduces his investor
friend, Derek, explaining Derek will
buy the land, rebuild the factory

and rent it out to Underworld on
the proviso that he is put in charge
of the building work.
Mikey North, who
plays builder Gary,
teases: ‘Without
giving too much away,
all is probably not as
it seems...’
Sarah refuses the
offer, not wanting
any connection to her ex, but the
machinists overrule her. Could it
be a decision they live to regret?
