TV TURN-OFF

Kirstie’s Celebrity

Craft Masters
This daily C4
series was a
load of old
codswallop!
I usually enjoy
watching
Kirstie Allsopp’s
craft shows, but this
one was seriously poor.
I thought the products that
they made were lacklustre
and uninspiring and it
was neither educational
nor entertaining – the series
should be scrapped.
N Brown, York

Wheely good!
I wasn’t a fan of any
motorsport show until the
latest series of To p G e a r
on BBC2 vroomed into my
life. The new presenters

  • Freddie Flintoff, Paddy
    McGuinness and Chris
    Harris – have completely
    converted me to a four-
    wheel enthusiast. The
    three lads gelled together
    brilliantly, cleverly mixing
    knowledge, daft tasks,
    entertaining facts and
    very funny banter. I can’t
    wait for the next series

  • you can’t fail with this
    one! Well done, BBC!
    Mary Windsor, Mansfield

Compelling drama
I’m absolutely delighted
that period drama
Poldark is back on
BBC1 but also very
sad it’s the last-ever
series. This superb
Cornish saga has been

compelling viewing
since it began. Aidan
Turner and Eleanor
Tomlinson are
fabulous as Ross and
Demelza Poldark
and are supported
by a wonderful
cast. This looks set
to be an exciting and
emotional finale.
Sean Hood, Hayle

Foodie delight
Fred Sirieix’s BBC2 series
Remarkable Places to
Eat is a culinary delight.
It’s terrific to see the
celebrity chefs enjoying

their favourite restaurants
around the world, and
the scenery is fantastic,
too. I’m hooked!
Kevin Milner, Stoke-on-Trent

Dynamic duo:
Mathew and Ashley

CAPRICORN (22 December-20 January)
It’s a week for big celebrations – weddings, parties and
get-togethers. Food, drink and overdoing it is almost
inevitable, but you can try some damage control. Drink
plenty of water and catch up on sleep when you can!
Call... 09058 170 408* Lotto No 12

AQUARIUS (21 January-18 February)
A difference of opinion with someone in your family
could leave you feeling a little out of sorts. But talking
to a friend will give you an inspiring way to put things
right. A little bit of tact and you’ll be best pals again.
Call... 09058 170 409* Lotto No 31

PISCES (19 February-20 March)
You may be tempted to splurge on something that feels
like a good idea now but you may regret it later. A bit
of deep thought will remind you of where you want to
be rather than going for a spontaneous solution!
Call... 09058 170 410* Lotto No 3

CANCER (21 June-22 July)
Family ties come first and take up most of your energy.
But Thursday and Friday look promising if you’re
looking to expand your hobbies. Take your free time
by the scruff of the neck and make it work for you.
Call... 09058 170 402* Lotto No 4

LEO (23 July-22 August)
Jupiter joins the Sun this week for a big burst of
enthusiasm. Useful opportunities are on their way

  • and some come in disguise! What first seems like
an average project could turn out to be a winner...
    Call... 09058 170 403* Lotto No 36

VIRGO (23 August-22 September)
What seems like an insurmountable hurdle is really a
chance to experience something totally different. You
may not be in the mood for it – or might be irritated by
it – but soon you’ll see it from a different perspective!
Call... 09058 170 404* Lotto No 45

LIBRA (23 September-23 October)
It’s a super week for getting your body organised. If you
need to move more, write down what you intend to
do. Putting pen to paper will help you remember and
make you feel more motivated. Simple but effective!
Call... 09058 170 405* Lotto No 29

SCORPIO (24 October-22 November)
Your temper may surprise you in the days ahead. A
seemingly trivial incident could send steam through
your ears. Perhaps there’s something deeper going on
that you’re avoiding dealing with? Worth investigating!
Call... 09058 170 406* Lotto No 25

SAGITTARIUS (23 November-21 December)
Your ruler Jupiter forms lucky angles to the Sun and
Venus – the two best planets for love and happiness.
Enjoy what’s happening now and decide to deal with
your worries if they ever actually happen.
Call... 09058 170 407* Lotto No 7

ARIES (21 March-19 April)
Sunday brings its challenges, with minor hurdles to
cross. Fortunately, you’ll be in a good mood because
you can see that the bigger picture is rosy. Keep your
eyes on the prize and you’ll glide past any hitches.
Call... 09058 170 399* Lotto No 8

TAU RUS (20 April-20 May)
Venus, your ruling orb, dances with Mercury, giving
you the gift of the gab. Your self-belief is evident to
all, so this is an excellent time to negotiate, sell and
persuade others to your way of thinking.
Call... 09058 170 400* Lotto No 40

GEMINI (21 May-20 June)
New business ideas arrive just at the right moment this
week – you’ll know a good deal when you see it and
you’ll instinctively know which path to take. A tiny
step out of your comfort zone brings a new social life.

Admirable

style and wit
It was great to see the return of
murder-mystery series Agatha
Raisin, starring Ashley Jensen,
on Sky One. It’s basically a
comic version of Midsomer
Murders, with a nod to Agatha
Christie’s Marple, but it was
hugely entertaining. Ashley,
Mathew Horne and Katy Wix
made a great team. With
admirable style and wit, it kept
me guessing until the end.
