How we built
Baffled by insurance? Confused by AI? How about explaining a process
that combines the two? We discover how Set Reset rose to the challenge
CYTORA
HOW WE BUILT(1) The story is driven by the bold animated
illustrations so the image container takes the
majority of the real estate. (2) To help people
skim the content, labels highlight when new
actors enter a scene. The user should be
able to understand the story in simple terms
without reading it all. (3) A vertical progress
bar subtly calls out the user’s position in
the narrative, while mirroring the scroll
direction. (4) Bite-sized paragraphs make
the content easy to digest and link to eachstage of the animation. The user can also
use arrow keys to navigate. (5) With less real
estate on mobile, the image takes centre
stage with each paragraph scrolling on an
elevated layer. We had loads of fun creating
all of the different restaurants in this scene.
If you hover over them on desktop, you’ll see
that each one is named after a Cytora team
member. Always great to throw an Easter
egg or two in there if the client is game

Needing a way to explain its AI-powered
risk engine to the insurance industry, Cytora
brought in Set Reset to develop a site that could
communicate the benefits of technology within
