THIS WEEK

eboot fever is at an all-time
high in Hollywood — and
the cast of Friends is looking
to cash in. Though the
sitcom’s stars [Jennifer
Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa
Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew
Perry and David Schwimmer] have
shrugged off the idea of a revival for
years, Jen recently hinted that
they’ve had a change of heart. “I’d
do it,” she teased during an
appearance on Ellen. “The girls
would do it, and the boys would do
it, I’m sure. Anything could happen.”

However, the cast members are
insisting on a major payday before
signing on the dotted line, despite
earning $20 million a year each from
reruns. “There have been
negotiations, but all of them are
demanding unrealistic fees going
into the tens of millions,” a source
tells OK! “David and Matthew were
the ones dragging their feet for the
longest time, but they’ve come
around. That’s because money
talks.” The source claims that the
stars are trying to get James
Burrows, one of the series’ directors,

on board; but the real question is
whether show creator Marta
Kauffman would accept the invite,
as she and Jen were rumored to
have butted heads. “Jen’s willing to
work with Marta and let bygones be
bygones. The biggest hurdle holding
them back is still the money,” insists
the source. “They’re banding
together to get a megamillion-dollar
deal and won’t budge unless they
get something that reflects how
huge the reunion would be.” Sorry,
fans, but it sounds like this project’s
still stuck in second gear!

FRIENDS

REUNION

DRIVEN

BY GREED

Channing Tatum is head over heels for
girlfriend Jessie J, but a friend claims
that his love for the singer is giving him
tunnel vision. “He’s totally consumed by
this relationship and wants to be with
Jessie 24/7,” spills the pal. “He doesn’t
have much ambition beyond spending
every minute of his time with her.” On
top of ditching his buddies, he’s also put
his career on the back burner, as the
friend claims Channing isn’t breaking
a sweat over his Magic Mike musical
hitting a bump in the road (in May, the
production’s creative team exited due to
“creative differences”). “It used to be his
passion project and now it’s under threat,
but Channing is acting like he couldn’t
care less,” dishes the pal. “In his head, he’s
financially set and doesn’t need to work,
so he may as well enjoy his time with the
love of his life.” How romantic?

From city slicker to country bumpkin!
John Krasinski is embracing the rural
life in western New York state as he
preps to begin shooting the sequel
to A Quiet Place — but an insider says
his bid to impress the locals is getting
excessive. “He’s just been trying
too hard. He’s doing weird stuff like
shaking people’s hands wherever he
goes and saying, ‘Howdy,’” shares
the insider. “He’ll wear lumberjack
shirts to show he can fit in and is
going to bars to chow down on
wings and beer. It’s become pretty
gluttonous.” Luckily, his wife, Emily
Blunt — who’ll star in
the movie — can give
him a wake-up call
when she arrives in
town next month.
“Hopefully, she can
calm John down a
bit,” adds the insider,
“before he really
embarrasses
himself.”

“He’s obsessed with
Jessie and that’s all that
seems to matter to him at

During the show’s original run, the cast put on a united front to get
an equal raise — and it worked. They each earned an unprecedented
$1 million per episode for the series’ final two seasons.
