space features a custom bed created from old porch posts. A large
walk-in closet has ample space for the couple’s clothing while sal-
vaged storage pieces add abundant space for organizing. “When I
was young, I always had a taste for all things old and antique,” Su-
san notes. “I cherished anything and everything my grandmothers
and great aunt from Louisiana handed down to me.” Her grand-
mother’s china cabinet is now an accent piece in the walk-in closet.
