‘The Housing Question’ is an exhibition
of video, photography, sculpture and
installation by artists Helen Grace and
Narelle Jubelin along with sound work by
Sherre DeLys. Together the trio explore the
universal complexities of displacement while
questioning one’s right to shelter, safety and
security. The works spotlight equitable and
available housing, while also connecting
broader social issues with the personal
and emotional impact of modern and
contemporary ideas about house and home.

Emerging Artist Award for Small Tapestries –
Constanza Guerrero (Chile), are on display in
this exhibition of contemporary hand-woven
tapestries. The ‘International Small Tapestry
Awards’ demonstrate the extraordinary skill
of national and international artists in the art
of weft-faced weaving, whereby all of the warp
and weft threads interlace to create the fabric
of the unique textile-based art form.
