l succulents and miniature plants
1
Begin by removing the internal wire
mechanism from the teapot, leaving it
completely empty. Clean it out with water,
then leave it to dry. Ideally you want to make
sure there are no fingerprints or other marks
on the glass. Once dry, add a couple of
handfuls of gravel to the bottom – this will aid
with drainage. Next, add a thin layer of sand.
2
Add around two inches of compost
or soil to the teapot, patting it down
lightly without compressing too much.
Place handfuls of reindeer moss on top
- again, pat these down without applying
too much pressure.
3
Add your miniature plants and succulents
to the pot. For each one, clear the moss
away a little and use a spoon to dig a small
hole in the soil. Place the plant into position,
then pat down the soil and reposition the
moss around it. Repeat until the teapot is
filled with plants. Replace the lid to finish.
