Dras-Kargil by a shared taxi (nine

passengers): ₹100 per passenger

Tip

A shared taxi is not convenient because

drivers force four people and two people

to occupy the middle seat meant for three

people and the front seat meant for one

person respectively.

Getting around

On foot and / or by shared-taxis

Dras to Kargil War Memorial by a shared-

taxi: ₹20 per person

Eat

Dhabas serve both vegetarian and non-

vegetarian food. Eggs and non-vegetarian

items are common.

A simple vegetarian meal starts from ₹ 150

per person.
