THE HIGH
POINT
Having largely flattered to deceive
in their provincial campaign, Cian
O’Neill was looking for a performance
in Corrigan Park against Antrim last
Saturday from Kildare. And he got it in
spades, with the men from the plains
racking up an impressive 1-25 tally and
a 14-point winning margin.
THE
LOW POINT
Perhaps it’s time to set up a support
group at this stage for teams
that have suffered under the
wrath of Dublin. Kildare
have endured as much as
anyone, the most recent
beating being the 0-26
to 0-11 loss in the
Leinster semi-final.
A difficult day.
