American Experience: Woodstock—Three
Days That Defined a Generation
A half-century ago, in a nation riven by civil
rights battles and the war in Vietnam, 400,000
young people gathered on a patch of farmland in
upstate New York for three days of peace, love,
mud, and music. This new Woodstock documen-
tary focuses not on the performers on stage but
on the crowd, combining old footage and fresh
interviews with attendees about what the experi-
ence meant to them. Tuesday, Aug. 6, at 9 p.m.,

BH90210
A reboot of Beverly Hills 90210 brings seven old
friends back together. Jason Priestley, Shannen
Doherty, Tori Spelling, and the rest of the origi-
nal cast will play themselves in a series about a
reboot of the iconic 1990s teen series set in one
of America’s richest ZIP codes. The ensemble cast
will be missing only Luke Perry, who died sud-
denly earlier this year, but his former peers are
expected to pay him tribute. Wednesday, Aug. 7,
at 9 p.m., Fox
Chasing the Cure
Ann Curry is ready to work miracles. In this new,
live 90-minute show, the former Today co-host
will try to secure diagnoses for individuals who
have been experiencing symptoms no doctor
has been able to explain. A trio of physicians
will join Curry each week, and the team will
try to crowdsource an answer by tapping into
the global community of medical professionals.
Thursday, Aug. 8, at 9 p.m., TNT and TBS
Succession
Money wins in the world of media mogul
Logan Roy, but wealth in a family only exposes
how unqualified most elites are to wield the
power they inherit. As Season 2 begins for this
wicked drama series, Brian Cox’s aging Rupert
Murdoch–like billionaire is trying to add a pres-
tige media company to his empire while his adult
children continue to jostle for the seat he can’t
hold forever. Look for Sarah Snook’s Shiv Roy
to make her play while her brothers stumble.
