er Majesty looked

delighted to visit a new

exhibition about the life

of her great-great-grandmother

Queen Victoria.

The monarch toured the

exhibition, called Queen

Victoria’s Palace, before she

opened Buckingham Palace

to the public for the summer.

“This exhibition is a bit

of a departure for us because

we tend to focus on Her

Majesty the Queen and the

royal family,” explains exhibition

curator Lucy Peter, “but this

time we are doing something

historical to mark Queen

Victoria and Albert

loved playing

piano duets.
