MUST LIST
BOYFRIEND
MATERIAL
On NBC’s hit drama This Is Us,
Logan Shroyer plays teenage
Kevin Pearson—one-third of
the Big Three, arguably TV’s
most well-known and well-
loved set of sibs. His athlete-
turned-actor character is on
the cusp of adulthood—and set
to encounter plenty of real-life
obstacles in upcoming eps this
fall (think: budding substance
abuse issues and a major move
to NYC). But IRL, Logan’s life
is decidedly less dramatic. So
what means the most to this
20-year-old rising star? Let’s
wade into the deep end...
PLAY TIME “In elementary
school music class, we’d play
a game where we’d act out
parts from The Wizard of Oz—
and I’d go all out. I definitely
perfected my Wicked Witch
of the West cackle. And my
younger brother and I used to
pretend that we were Power
Rangers. Of course, we’d
always argue over who got
to play which ranger. I took it
*very* seriously.”
HELPING HAND “Last Thanks-
giving, Hannah [Zeile, who
plays teenage Kate on This
Is Us] and I helped serve the
homeless dinner at the Los
Angeles Mission. That was one
of the most incredible things
I’ve ever done. It really doesn’t
take that much effort just to
serve someone a tray of food—
but it makes such a big impact
on the people you’re helping.”
CURRENT EVENTS “I’ve been
surfing since I was 11. I love
it! You get out there and you
try to have fun, but you soon
realize that the ocean is in
control—you cannot move the
waves or tell them what to do.
It’s a humbling reminder of
how small we all are, and, at
the same time, allows you to be
a part of something greater.”
