Low Price, Lasting Quality
TruGlo has updated its popular budget
bowsight, the STORM, with two new
models. The G2 sights —a 3-pin and a
5-pin — feature an improved, aluminum
mounting bracket with a wide range
of adjustment, strength, security and
modern styling. Their Pro-Brite pins are .019-inch in diameter for
increased durability and light-gathering capability, and the 5-pin
model includes a light (shown) for even greater pin brightness.
The sights are lightweight, compact and adjustable for right- or
left-handed shooters, and there’s even a glow-in-the-dark shooter’s
ring for better sight acquisition in low-light hunting scenarios.
MSRP: $28.99 (3-pin); $34.99 (5-pin)

Kick the Kernel
Designed to trump corn as a deer attractant, BB²
provides 110 percent of its energy value while being
far easier for whitetails to digest. BB² also contains
roughly double the protein content of corn (18 per-
cent versus 8-10 percent), making it more attractive
to deer even when other protein-rich foods are
naturally available. Throw in a strong odor that even
humans can smell at a distance, and BB² is ready to
lure in the biggest bucks come hunting season. To top it all off,
BB² can be used in standard deer feeders or thrown directly
on the ground, so no special applicator is necessary.
MSRP: $12.99 (6-pound bag); $19.99 (20-pound bag);
$36.99 (40-pound bag)

Straight to Smartphones — the Smart Way
Cellular trail cameras have revolutionized scouting,
but they come at a price — a price you pay monthly
and that varies depending on your data provider.
BigFoot Cameras has eased that woe with pre-
installed SIM cards in its cameras, SIM cards that
come with affordable data plans and work with most
cellular carriers. There’s no dedicated provider; the
cameras simply use whichever cell signal is stron-
gest in your area. BigFoot’s 3G and 4G cameras
then send motion-triggered or time-lapse images to
you via text/email within seconds of their capture, allowing you
to plan your hunting strategies around real-world intel.
MSRP: $199.95 (3G); $299.95 (4G)

Get After ’Em
Ground blinds bring to mind stationary hunt-
ing in predetermined locations, but not the
Caretaker Kick Out. Ameristep designed
this ground blind for the run-and-gun
bowhunter, complete with light weight (15
pounds) and quick setup/takedown. The
blind’s floor measures 65x65 inches when
deployed and can accommodate two hunt-
ers, or one hunter and his or her camera gear. The Kick Out gets
its name from its dual “kick-outs” along the bottom, which allow for
more floor space than traditional blinds. The kick-outs also provide
the blind with an irregular shape, helping break up its silhouette.
MSRP: $119.99

Much Mo’ Ozone
Building on the success of the
HR300 in-the-field ozone unit,
the Orion offers bowhunters an
even better way to hide in plain
sight when afield. The Orion boasts an
increased battery life of up to 10 hours in standard mode and eight
hours in boost mode. It also raises the scent-control bar with a new
“Hyperboost” mode, producing about 25 percent more ozone for
use during tricky environmental conditions and peak animal-activity
periods. The Orion is compatible with all existing Ozonics accesso-
ries and can be used indoors or outside to remove unwanted odors.
MSRP: $549.99
