THE DARK
COLOURS
Here I am adding
the darkest parts of
the painting. I use
complementary colours
to mix my own dark
grey colours. I don’t
use any black or grey
paint out of a tube.

ADDING
DETAILS
Here I am painting
thicker paint on areas
I am more confident in
whilst creating texture
and different mark
making using a palette
knife. Finally I am
adding details.

ADJUSTMENTS
I re-painted the sky
in a lighter tone and
adjusted the other
colours in relation to
this change.
