Heavy showers and
thunderstorms are
expected to move from the
central Plains to the lower
Mississippi Valley in the
second half of this week.
The result will be pockets
of flash flooding, especially
in poor drainage areas and
along small rivers and
streams. Motorists
traveling through the
affected region may be
delayed by water-covered
roads and poor visibility.
