Sew with right sides together unless

otherwise stated.

Press seams in directions indicated by

arrows on diagrams. Designer Kelli Marshall

likes to press her seams open to reduce

bulkiness.

1 ) Referring to Diagram 1, sew together a

gray linen, white linen, and pink linen

11 ∕ 2 ×25" strip along long edges to make

Strip Set A. Cut strip set into sixteen

11 ∕ 2 "-wide A segments.

2 ) Sew together a gray linen and white linen

11 ∕ 2 ×25" strip and a pink linen 2^1 ∕ 2 ×25"

strip to make Strip Set B. Cut strip set into

sixteen 1^1 ∕ 2 "-wide B segments (Diagram 2).

3 ) Sew together a gray linen 3^1 ∕ 2 ×25" strip, a

white linen 1^1 ∕ 2 ×25" strip, and a coral linen

11 ∕ 2 ×25" strip to make Strip Set C. Cut

strip set into sixteen 1^1 ∕ 2 "-wide C segments

(Diagram 3).

4 ) Sew together a gray linen 3^1 ∕ 2 ×25" strip, a

white linen 1^1 ∕ 2 ×25" strip, and a coral linen

21 ∕ 2 ×25" strip to make Strip Set D. Cut

strip set into sixteen 1^1 ∕ 2 "-wide D segments

(Diagram 4).

5 ) Sew together a gray linen 5^1 ∕ 2 ×25" strip, a

white linen 1^1 ∕ 2 ×25" strip, and a burgundy

linen 1^1 ∕ 2 ×25" strip to make Strip Set E. Cut

strip set into sixteen 1^1 ∕ 2 "-wide E segments

(Diagram 5).

6 ) Sew together a gray linen 5^1 ∕ 2 ×25" strip, a

white linen 1^1 ∕ 2 ×25" strip, and a burgundy

linen 2^1 ∕ 2 ×25" strip to make Strip Set F. Cut

strip set into sixteen 1^1 ∕ 2 "-wide F segments
