LandingPage-ShoppingCart-inspired-in-The-
Sorry-Girls

This is a personal project – I redesigned
The Sorry Girls website, which belongs
to a DIY YouTube channel with the same
name. I divided the site into two parts: a
landing page where I introduce them and a
simple and minimalistic shopping cart.
Kelsey and Becky’s styles are minimalistic
and girly and to show that in the design, I
used a light and a dark grey, combined with
dark blue and what I call a pink matte. I used
the pink matte to provide contrast to the
pictures with cold lighting and the light grey
to contrast the colourful and warm photos.
For the typography, I used Helvetica Neue,
which I think of as a simple and minimalist
font. I combined the font’s own variations
(bold, regular, light, thin) for the different
elements on the design.

MY MONTH

What have you been
working on/doing this
month?
This month I’ll be
working on two projects
that have got me very
excited, one for a new
Mexican company
providing winter
clothing, where I’ll be
designing their website
concept. The other
project is building my
own design and
software development
business. And, of
course, I‘ll be continuing
to design and develop
various web
components for my
future projects.
