Traceonecopyof theSideHeadFeather,

CentreHeadFeather,TailFeather,Eye,

NeckCircleandNYBCircletemplatesonto

theuncoatedpapersideof freezerpaper,

leavinga littlespacebetweeneach.Place

thissheetof freezerpaperontopof a

secondsheet,both with the coated (sticky)

sidedown.

Usea dryirontopressthetwo

sheetsoffreezerpapertogether.

Usingtwolayerswillmakeyourtemplates

sturdier.Gentlypeelfromyourironing

surfaceandcutouteach template along

yourdrawn lines.

TakeoneofyourFabricF 3in x 10in

pieces and place the centre head

feathertemplateonthewrongside,sticky

sidedown.Pressin place.Cutaroundthe

outeredgeofthetemplate,addinga^3 / 8 in

seamallowance all the way around.

Spraysomestarchin a smallcupand

waitforthefoamtodissolve.Usea

smallstiffbrushtoapplystarchtotheseam

allowanceona smallsectionoftheseam

allowance,startingat onelongstraightedge.

Pressthe seam allowance over the template.

Repeattheprocessin thelaststep,

workingyourwayaroundthepiece,

andeasingaroundthecurve(FigA).

Onceallseamallowancesarepressed,

turnthepieceRSupandpressfromthe

front.Leavetocool,then carefully peel

away the template.
