2018 is a very special year for Minotti.
Having reached its 70th Anniversary,
a milestone that attests its strong commitment
to interior design, in April Minotti presented
a multifaceted collection on the occasion of
the Milan Furniture Fair. It is the result of
a project open to contributors with design
philosophies rooted in various cultural
backgrounds.
A collection that keeps intact the values
of elegance of forms, of sobriety in design
and of continuity in the tradition inherent
in the company’s DNA, but open to
solicitations coming from different cultures.
Entirely coordinated by Rodolfo Dordoni,
as a sign of continuity, today the collection
welcomes the stylistic input of four
international designers.
From Italy, Rodolfo Dordoni himself,
together with the company since 20 years
now, reaffirms his unmistakable style.
Linked to the principles of both rationalism
and interior decoration, his pieces, which are
the perfect expression of Minotti identity,
carry references to the world of contemporary art.
From Japan, Oki Sato from Nendo studio
brings his light graphic tone. A subtle poetry
that runs through his designs, the attention to
volumes, thicknesses and unexpected details
that invite to discover his creations closely.
From France, Christophe Delcourt
reconnects with the affection of French
culture for decoration, precious materials,
surfaces worked with artisanal savoir-faire
and fine cabinetmaking, combined
with high-end technologies.
From Brazil, Marcio Kogan from
studio mk27 conveys his architectural
approach to outdoor designs, borrowing
elements and materials from the worlds
of nature and yachting, abolishing
the boundaries between inside and outside.
The interprets
all these stimuli and declares its gaze on
the future, inserting the symbol of the infinite
into its name.
An infinite present that marks the evolution
of the design strategy of the company,
true expression of an exciting cross-cultural
contamination of styles and languages.
