A sleek new sportswear collection is not what it seams
Sportswear isn’t always that sexy, but a collaboration
between Norwegian technical sportswear brand Odlo
and Zaha Hadid Architects has left us breathless. The
Zaha design team has created a set of engineered base
layer tops and leggings that feature Odlo’s signature
innovations, including body mapping, seamless knitting
and Zeroweight insulation. The two sets (one for men,
one for women) feature an elastic, seamless knitted
texture that controls the low of air and adapts to
breathing and movement. Thanks to body mapping,
the pieces act like a second skin, with no seams
limiting low and lexibility. The collection took shape
in much the same way that most of the architectural
practice’s projects come to life, with a combination of
visual ideas and rigorous research. Sporting underwear
has never been so it. odlo.com; zaha-hadid.com
