e couldn’t agree with this

sentiment more! A cup of

tea always brings people

together, and putting the kettle on is

the first thing we do when a friend

comes to visit. So, celebrate this small

but important part of everyday life

with Siobhan’s delightful design – we

think it’ll be just your cup of tea!

In Siobhan’s trademark vintage

floral style, this piece uses a fresh

colour palette. With whole cross

stitch, fractionals, backstitch in one

and two strands and a few French

knots to decorate the flowers, this is

a great design for a beginner stitcher

looking to take on a bigger project.

Once complete, this would be

a thoughtful gift to give to a friend

• although you may want to keep it
  to display in your own home! We’ve
  finished our version by stretching it
  over a canvas for a modern feel, but
  it would also work well in a fancy
  frame, or you could even turn it into a
  tray – the perfect accompaniment to
  your tea with friends!

Time for

I got the inspiration for this ‘Tea With

Friends’ design from my favourite china.

I always prefer to make my tea in a teapot

and then drink it from a cup and saucer –

I think it tastes better that way!
