nother day, another survey showing that China is leaps and bounds

ahead of the US when it comes to moving up to 5G technology. A

GSMA Intelligence report, Future of Devices, says that China has

become the “global epicenter” of smartphone manufacturing and consumption,

and Chinese consumers are far more enthusiastic than Americans, Brits, or

Australians about jumping up to the next generation of technology.

“China’s lead over other advanced nations such as the US is stark ... China could

vastly outweigh any other country in the early years of 5G take-up,” the report

says. The GSMA is the trade association for the world’s mobile-phone carriers.
