The funky repeating patterns
are created simply using whole cross
stitch, in a colour palette of oranges,
pinks and blues that instantly take
you back to the wild and wonderful
fashions of forty years ago. It’s easy to
adjust the thread shades if you want,
however, and customise the designs
with yours or the recipient’s favourite
colours. Get creative!

I was inspired by retro 1970s patterns but
with an updated palette. I love projects that
have a function as well as aesthetic appeal
and these colourful purses are lined which
