How long have you been
making cards?
Over 20 years; I started by
using old birthday cards from
friends and relatives. I would
make toppers with some extra
cardstock to make them into
new cards.
Do you enjoy any other crafts?
I also like to crochet and sew.
I’ve made toys, all my curtains
in my home and I do any sewing
jobs my family needs doing.
Do you have a favourite
cardmaking occasion?
I enjoy a challenge, so when
a relative or friend asks for a
card with a personal theme for
someone, I love to come up with
the ideal card for them.
What are your favourite
products or techniques?
Stamping, embossing, colouring
and using stencils are my rst
loves, but I also like to make
cards using all my dies, of which
I have many!
What are your crafting
aspirations?
I love being creative, and being
part of the magazine ful lls all
my aspirations.
Do you have any crafty words
of wisdom?
Crafting is a fabulous way of
relaxing, and is so rewarding.
It also gives a great feeling
of achievement... so craft,
craft, craft!
How does it feel to be a
Papercraft Magazines Designer
of the Year winner?
I’m over the moon to have been
chosen as one of the winners,
and I am looking forward to
the experience of being on the
Design Team and being part of
the magazine.
