Using your Cut & Emboss set

You will need

● white 13.5cm-square

card blank

● white & coral cardstock

● clear Tonic Studios inkpad

● manual die-cutting machine

Simply make
1 Layer a 14.5cm panel of
coral cardstock onto a 16cm
square of gold cardstock
and af x in place on the
card front.
2 Cut a piece of vellum to
measure 14.5cm square
and place in embossing
folder and run through the
die-cutting machine. Cut a
circle aperture from a 15.5cm
panel of white cardstock and
add the embossed vellum
to reverse.

3 Die-cut a heart from

white cardstock using the

embossing folder. Stamp and

heat-emboss the ‘Valentine’

sentiment onto the heart.

Using the large heart stamp,

add detail to the edge of the

heart as shown. Add to the

aperture of the vellum.

4 Create the ‘be my’ sentiment,

print and trim before af xing

in place. Stamp and heat-

emboss a small heart, cut

down and add to the large

heart. Add sequins to  nish.

Simply make

1 Cut a 12.5cm-square card

blank from a piece of coral

cardstock and layer onto

the card front.

2 Emboss a 12cm square of

white cardstock, and apply

ink to the edges using a

blending sponge.

3 Add a piece of acetate to the

reverse using hi-tack tape and

adhere 3D foam pads around

the edge of the aperture.

4 Add ink directly to the

inside front of the embossing

folder, carefully place an

11cm square of white

cardstock in the centre of

the folder and run through

die-cutting machine.

5 Add the die-cut heart to a

larger piece of card and

adhere to the 3D foam pads,

creating the shaker element

before mounting the panel

onto the card front.

6 Stamp and heat-emboss the

sentiment, trim and adhere in

the bottom corner. Embellish

the card front with sequins as

shown to  nish.
