W
e stitchers love a
good alphabet,
and this chocolateegg-themed set of letters is
certainly a treat! The best thing
about alphabets is that they
can be used to personalise or
customise pretty much anything
you want to make, and with so
much fun to be had at this time
of year you can use this one to
create all sorts of Easter delights.
We used these sweet letters to
stitch the word ‘Easter’ onto a
length of aida band to decorate
an egg hunting basket, but you
could also use it as a cake band
for a scrummy seasonal spread.
Children will love it if you stitch
their name to attach to their very
own treasure vessel, or stitch a
friend’s initials to mount in a card
for a thoughtful Easter greeting.
You could even stitch just one
of the egg motifs on its own to
make a gorgeous gift tag.
