Cut pieces in the following order.

From solid white, cut:

▫ 2—17^3 ⁄ 4 " squares, cutting each

diagonally twice in an X for

8 large setting triangles total

▫ 2—10" squares, cutting each in

half diagonally for 4 large corner

triangles total

▫ 26—4^1 ⁄ 4 " squares, cutting each

diagonally twice in an X for

104 small setting triangles total

▫ 26—2^5 ⁄ 8 " squares, cutting each in

half diagonally for 52 small corner

triangles total

▫ 156—3" squares

From each of 13 assorted medium and

dark prints, cut:

▫ 4—3" squares

From each of 13 remaining assorted

medium and dark prints, cut:

▫ 5—3" squares

From each assorted cream print, cut:

▫ 4—3" squares

FINISHED QUILT: 595 ⁄ 8 " square

FINISHED BLOCK: 101 ⁄^2 " square

▫ 7 ⁄ 8 yard cream floral (sashing,
inner border)

▫ 7 ⁄ 8 yard yellow print (outer border)

▫ 37 ⁄ 8 yards backing fabric

▫ 24—1^1 ⁄ 2 " sashing squares

From cream floral, cut:

▫ 6—1^1 ⁄ 2 ×42" strips for inner border

▫ 36—1^1 ⁄ 2 ×11" sashing rectangles

From yellow print, cut:

▫ 6—4×42" strips for outer border

ASSEMBLE BLOCKS

Measurements include^1 ⁄ 4 " seam

allowances. Sew with right sides

together unless otherwise stated.

Press seams in directions indicated

by arrows on diagrams. If no direction

is specified, press seam toward darker

fabric.

Gather eight solid white small

setting triangles, four solid white

small corner triangles, four 3" squares

from one medium or dark print, five 3"

squares from a second medium or dark

print, and four 3" squares from one

cream print.
