Your best bet may be to store the
password as a secure note and copy/
paste it in as needed. Or even eyeball it
and type it in, if copy/paste is
suppressed.

Your review of Norton AntiVirus Plus
seemed thorough and positive enough
that I would consider them again. If
not for one little thing. How could I
justify purchasing a product from a
computer security company that is
supporting malware with their

hijacking.
One rushed morning I was trying to get
directions somewhere and accidentally
installed a chrome plugin called
³PDSVDQGGULYLQJGLUHFWLRQVWDE ́,WZDV
stupid, but in my defense, that
morning, that app appeared to be the
updated version of the driving portion
of Google Maps. I soon realized my
mistake and removed the app. Well, I
thought I had removed it. I have
followed all of the directions I have
EHHQDEOHWR¿QG,GLGPDQDJHWR
remove the home search page hijacking
portion, but I have not been able to
remove the constant popup
QRWL¿FDWLRQV,JHWDKXQGUHGRUVRD
GD\$VLJQL¿FDQWSRUWLRQRIWKHPDUH
alerting me that my Norton AntiVirus
protection has expired (patently not
true, this computer has never had
Norton on it) and are trying to send me
WR³RQOLQHVDYHUVGLUHFWFOXE ́WRUHQHZLWI’m assuming that Norton is somehow
paying for this advertising, perhaps
giving a kickback for any purchases

understanding what is going on here?
Is this perhaps some general phishing
scheme that really has no connection to
the products it seems to be advertising
for? Your thoughts?
