Move the slider
At the top of the profile page, you’ll see
an option called ‘Recognise My Voice’. Move
the slider to the right so that it is green and this
will activate the setup process.

Select Continue
You’ll be given information about the
Voice Recognition function. If you’re happy
to proceed, tap ‘Continue’. Selecting ‘Don’t
Recognise My Voice’ will quit the process.

Allow requests
Now decide if you want Siri to read
and send messages, make calls and create
reminders on your HomePod. If so, tap ‘Use
Personal Requests’ or else tap ‘Don’t Use’.

Want to check messages? Say,
“Hey Siri, do I have any new
messages?”. For Reminders,
say “Hey Siri, remind me to
[request]”. You can “create a
new note”, see “what does my
day look like” and “answer my
phone” among many requests.
