transformative experience,” John says. “The
wind is almost always blowing, the waves
splashing white over the rocks, the stars
and lights from Long Island flickering on the
horizon.” OPPOSITE Jaqui saw the octagonal
table at a shop. “It was a display piece that
wasn’t for sale, but I knew the shape of it
was perfect for the angles in the window,
so I begged, and it eventually came home
with me,” she says. A custom banquette also
conforms to the living area’s bay window.
