Yasser Larouci became the Reds’ latest first-
team debutant when he replaced James Milner
during the early exchanges of the FA Cup third-
round win over Everton. The Algerian-born no70,
who celebrated his 19th birthday on New Year’s
Day, came on for the injured skipper at left-back
and gave a polished performance as the team
booked their place in round four. He was one of
the star performers as Liverpool won the
FA Youth Cup last season.
