EXPERT ADVICE ADD YOUR

OWN TOUCH TO PRESETS

Just because we’ve given you a range of presets that can
be applied out of the box, it doesn’t mean you can’t still add
your own flare to each one. In Photoshop, you can open the
Action’s group and tweak each individual layer to better suit
your image. You can do the same in Affinity by clicking on
each layer and playing with the values. When it comes to
Lightroom, you only need adjust the sliders and tools on
the right-hand side of the Develop module to come up with
a slightly different look. It sounds simple, but it’s important
to remember that a preset doesn’t work for every photo, and
a tiny tweak could well be just the ticket. You can even add
extra layers or adjustments on top of ours to put your mark
on it and really make it your own.
