was a specialfeelingof excitementaroundthe
st adium fromtheminuteI arrived.I tookshotsof
th e fans walkingin fromthecitycentrebefore
getting photosof thematchitself.Beforethefinal
whistle, I putmy 70-200mmand300mmlenses
away at the suggestionof theclubphotographer,
who was anticipatinga pitchinvasion.At fulltime,
th ousands offansrushedthefieldandswarmedthe
te am in celebration.I tookas manyshotsas I could
of the fans andplayers,beforespottingtheclub’s
owner Tan amongthecrowd.I pushedthroughwith
my 24-70mmto geta shotof himas he waslifted
above the crowd,so his headwasclearlyvisible.
I spread my elbowsoutto protectmy cameraand
th en used my6ft 4in heightto frameup on Tan,who
spotted me andlookedstraightdownmy lens.
