HAVE FUN WITH SMOOTHING AND SYMMETRY
The Smoothing setting in the Brush Tool options creates smooth curved lines as you
paint. If you’ve ever tried painting with a mouse or trackpad, you’ll find this feature very
handy – just remember to turn it off when you’re done. Alongside Smoothing is Symmetry
Painting, a delightful setting that allows you to paint in several places at once, creating a
symmetrical array of brush strokes. Here we’ve used the Scatter and Spacing settings along
with the Radial Symmetry setting to create a spiraling circular pattern from our moth brush.
