Walking in the grounds
of Ragley Hall.
The Great Dog Walk has
proved very popular.
A
mammoth dog walk, which has seen
more than 125,000 people and their
canine companions take part over the
last six years, is set to launch as a series of
events around the UK.
The Great Dog Walk has proved so
popular at Dogfest that the organisers,
Fitz All Media, have decided to launch four
new events as part of the country’s biggest
communal dog walking series.
Following last year’s pilot events at
Loseley Park, Surrey, and
Ragley Hall, Warwickshire,
where walkers were treated
to a festival village with
interactive activities along
2k, 5k, and 10k routes,
new venues in Scotland,
Yorkshire, Essex, and
Nottinghamshire will be
added from April.
As well as celebrity guests such as
Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick and Clare
Balding, the festival includes dog-friendly
attractions, activities, entertainment, and
the chance to explore the
stunning grounds of some
of Britain’s stately homes
while raising money
for charity.
Highlights include
a splash park, fun dog
show, hay bale racing, free
veterinary advice, and
health checks, the opportunity to meet
famous Instagram dogs, and festival food
and drink.
