of redemption. Cast your minds backto the

end of 2018 and Esteban Ocon had been

displaced from his RacingPoint seat after

investment in theteam arrived from Lance

Stroll’s father Lawrence. Ocon occupied the

sidelines in a supporting role with Mercedes

(whose boss,Toto Wolff, has long been one

of Ocon’s admirers and has been looking

after his career) last year. An opportunity

to returnto the cockpit has arrived at

Renault and you canexpect the quick and

determined Oconto seize the chance.

After a year as a sim jockey, Ocon will be

a little rusty. But his biggest help at this

corporate Frenchteam is his nationality.
