Lunch for children’s hospices
Christmas Cards for Good Causes shop open
I EDINBURGH ladies who lunch are being urged to
be quick if they want to snap up the last remaining
tickets for this year’s Winter Wonderland lunch in
aid of Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS).
The event will take place at Prestonfield House on
Sunday 11 December from 12pm to 6pm.
Guests will enjoy a special afternoon tea with fizz
and take part in lots of Christmas fundraising games
hosted by comedian and singer, Jess Robinson.
Entertainment will be provided by well-known
late-night piano player from Fingers Bar in
Frederick Street, Norman Levene, and popular
Edinburgh band BLEEKER who are longstanding
friends of CHAS.
There will be manyprizes for anyone to win at the
glittering event including a chance to win a personal
‘party in your living room’ with rising Edinburgh
singer Callum Beattie.

CHARITY Cards for Good Causes
has opened a Christmas pop-up
shop at St John’s Church
to raise funds this winter.
The doors will be open
until 17 December and a
wide range of Christmas
cards and gifts will be on
sale including seasonal
gifts, stocking fillers,
wrap, decorations and tableware.
Their card selection this year
features a mix of traditional
religious cards, old masters,
beautiful landscapes, as well as
festive favourites and cute
animals, ensuring that there’s
something for everyone.
