birdsintheirfirsttwoyears.
Whenwilltheeagles rstbreed?
White-tailedeaglestendtonestin
woodland,nofurtherthan2kmfromthe
coastorfreshwater.Thoughreintroduced
birdswanderatfirst,theyusuallyreturnto
breedwithin50kmofthereleasesite.There
areseveralquietwoodsontheIsleofWight
thatmightbeused.Furtherafield,locations
couldincludeBashfordLakesneartheNew
Forest,andPooleHarbourinDorset,which
haswoodedareasalongitssouthernedge.
